Woman with disability needing accessible home organizing

OVERVIEW

Wellbeing and Ability is a single member LLC serving the Knoxville Metropolitan area primarily in Knox and Anderson Counties.

I help older adults, individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions, and their families navigate care needs, accessibility challenges, and home-based supports.

I provide home accessibility and organization services to create safer, more functional, and easier-to-manage living spaces. My work focuses on reducing clutter, improving daily flow, and establishing practical systems that support independence, comfort, and peace of mind. Services are tailored to each person’s needs, whether you are aging in place, living with a disability, or managing a life transition.

In addition, I offer care consulting and adaptive coaching to support safety, independence, and long-term planning. Select clients may also receive limited hands-on support with routines based on need and availability.

Services are available on a short-term, ongoing, or as-needed basis.

Reduced-fee or pro-bono support may be available on a limited, case-by-case basis.

Visit the Services page for more details, or schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs or those of a loved one.

JESSICA KAHLER, MSW, CAPT

Disability & Elder Care Consultant

I am a Master’s Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities through social work and direct care as well as years of experience in the healthcare field. I hold degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Kentucky, with focused coursework in aging populations. I am also a Certified Adaptive Fitness Specialist through the Strong Education Certification Program and CPR/AED certified by the American Heart Association.

As a consultant specializing in aging and disability, I support individuals and families during times of transition, increased care needs, and caregiver stress. My work focuses on helping people navigate care decisions, reduce overwhelm, adapt routines to current abilities, and improve the safety and accessibility of the home environment to support independence and function.

**Although informed by MSW training, services are nonclinical and not part of licensed social work practice. All services are provided by the owner in an independent capacity. Support is non-medical and offered on a limited, individualized basis.
