I offer personal assistance to men and women who have chronic health conditions or disabilities, as well as to seniors. I typically offer these services in-home, including organizing schedules and appointments, errands, transportation & accompaniment to appointments, shopping, companionship & emotional support, facilitating socialization in the community, meal prep, down-sizing/home organization, non-clinical social services such as case management, advocacy, education, connection with community resources, and other services to reduce stress, help with daily living tasks and promote independence and overall wellbeing of clients and their families. 

Personalized functional, body-positive adaptive training tailored to your needs and goals specifically for people age 75+ and those with disabilities, chronic health, or mental health conditions. In-home, outdoor in nature, or online options available. I use a scientific research-based adaptive training model and movements are tailored to specific health or mental health conditions, disabilities, or active aging needs using a trauma-informed, body-positive, and size inclusive approach and include specific stretches, walking, and gentle resistance exercises to help with balance, flexibility, chronic pain, and stress reduction to help maintain independence. 

As a Certified Adaptive Fitness Specialist, I can provide multiple stress reduction techniques and can integrate those into personal assistance services or adaptive fitness sessions at no additional cost. These include progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, mindful movements, deep breathing techniques, and more.

As an optional integration into either adaptive training or personal assistance services, I can include Christian spiritual practices such as prayer or meditation as we work towards your goals. As I understand there are many Christian denominations, the client chooses what practices they are comfortable with, and I don't promote specific denominations, but respect my client's level of comfort when choosing religious practices. I work with each client to determine which practices I offer best align with their goals.
